WHAT IS FRANCHISING?

Franchising is a marketing technique or a method of doing business wherein a company grants an applicant the right to operate its business and markets its products and services using their trade name, reputation and standards. It also provides assistance in site selection, lease negotiations, hiring and training of staff.

In return, the applicant pays the company a front-end franchise or dealership fee. And in most cases, the applicant pays an on-going royalty fee for the company's share of sales and income.

The end result is a pre-packed business that will allow the company to expand in the fastest manner and allow the applicant to take advantage of the company's popularity and successes.
